DAGMAR MIKOLICS

An Austrian dressmaker with a penchant for couture who appreciates challenges as much as the people she dresses.
I discovered my passion for the craft of sewing at a very young age and it accompanied me throughout my school education (HBLA for fashion and clothing technology in Oberwart). My master craftsman’s certificate in 2000 paved the way for my dream of having my own studio, which I realised in 2009 at Börsegasse 7 in Vienna’s city centre.
Twice a year, I create an average of around 80 pieces in my studio, which are presented in the spring/summer and autumn/winter collections. The well thought-out designs, which offer my customers numerous combination options and additions to their basic wardrobe, consist of dresses, blouses, skirts, trouser suits, jackets and coats as well as various accessories – the models of which can be tailored to the respective customer depending on their colour and fabric requirements.
My designs are based on current trends, but the styles are always individualised and tailored to the wearer – as individual as my customers.
All my creations have one thing in common: my enthusiasm for the careful selection of materials and the high-quality workmanship of the individual pieces!
