The brand’s central figure is a delicate woman shaped by experience — by mistakes, losses, and heartbreak on one side, and by wild success, love, and opportunity on the other. This journey forms a resilient character that empowers her to overcome anything. TAKAYAK’s mission is to dress women on the path to wholeness — women unafraid to be themselves, helping them feel confident and stylish.

The brand’s founder, Kateryna Yantukh, grew up in a creative Galician family of artists and educators. Her sense of style was formed in theater dressing rooms before performances, while dreaming of designing her own clothes and waiting for the next episode of Matador of Fashion. Even as she pursued degrees in economics and law, she never stopped believing in her vision. She always knew that a woman’s true style comes from within. Despite the chaos spreading across the world — and the war in her homeland — she continues to believe in herself, to make bold choices, and to pour her energy into a dynamic clothing collection.

In its new “Intersection” collection, TAKAYAK explores the meeting point of contrasts — the interplay of rough and soft, formal and effortless, denim and viscose, a linen suit and a dress that melts against the skin. It’s more than a mix of fabrics — it’s a map of seasonal movement, where each piece is a stop and every look is a direction. “Intersection” is not about extremes, but about balance. There is no strict “either–or” here — only the “and” that unites denim with delicate textiles, sharp lines with fluid silhouettes, layering with lightness. The collection is designed for women who embrace change while staying true to themselves.
We play with textures — pairing the sturdiness of denim with the softness of viscose, the precision of suiting fabrics with breathable linen. All in a palette inspired by the transitional season: from muted sandy tones to deep night shades. TAKAYAK continues to work with local manufacturers and remains attentive to every detail. We create pieces meant to be worn daily, yet each carries something beyond clothing — a feeling of the moment, the mood, the self.
