DREIZEHN – AIR DES MQ

The name dreizehn (thirteen) is rooted in the symbolism of death and profound transformation. It represents the decay of the old to birth the new. Embracing this continuous cycle of rebirth, our studio explores the liminal space between art and fashion through the reincarnation of discarded textiles. We salvage fabric scraps to weave forgotten histories into new narratives, bound together by our signature red stitchin, a visceral thread that symbolizes the pulse of human touch and the beauty of mending. Grounded in a zero-waste philosophy, we rely on the purity of rectangular forms to strip away excess. Our garments do not dictate shape; rather, they engage in a fluid, inclusive dialogue with the wearer, adapting naturally to diverse bodies. Born from the raw energy of the Berlin underground and the mindful discipline of traditional Japanese cuts, dreizehn is a profound tribute to craftsmanship where every stitch is a deliberate act of creation and metamorphosis.
