The Fashion Academy Vienna stands for future-oriented fashion education with a conscience. As an institution dedicated to sustainable design, ethical production, and creative innovation, we train young talents who see fashion as a form of social responsibility.
Under this year’s theme “RE:FORM – Threads of Change”, our students present a collection that embodies transformation, progress, and the courage to realign. In a world that is constantly evolving, we view fashion not just as an aesthetic medium, but as a statement for conscious action.

For this collection, only surplus materials, leftover textiles from production, and garments originally destined for incineration were used. What was once considered waste has been reshaped into a new narrative – into design pieces that are not only wearable but also transformative.
The designs showcase how creatively critical thinking, craftsmanship, and sustainability can merge to make a real contribution to changing the industry. Here, fashion becomes a mirror of the times – and an invitation to actively shape the future.
