The designer Elke Freytag designs with passion and creativity consciously reduced fashion for women. Elke Freytag says about herself : “I want women to feel comfortable in my designs and their assets to be emphasized. I see my fashion as timelessly modern, high-quality, individual and sustainable”.
TIMELESSLY MODERN – TRÉS CHIC
The play with shapes make the designs unmistakably unique. elke freytag’s fashion is inspired by the spirit of the 60s in London. The birth of the miniskirt and a preference for black and white have left a lasting mark on the label.
HIGH QUALITY – EXQUISITE FABRICS
Exquisite fabric production is extremely important to the Viennese label. Designer Elke Freytag pays close attention to where and how the raw material for her collections is created. The established label does not have its own textile materials produced, but uses the dead stock inventory of international fashion houses. The noble fabrics are taken over by Elke Freytag after careful sifting and processed in her designs. The materials are qualitatively unique and exquisite.
INDIVIDUAL – FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE TO FASHION
As a trained construction technician and career changer in the fashion world, elke freytag’s designs are characterized by precise and straight cuts. Her statement pieces are used in a pointed way and are always part of the current collection. The designs look depending on accessories and shoes, sometimes sporty or elegant and can be worn all day. elke freytag collections appear four times a year consist of an exclusive limited edition of individual pieces and small series. Every two weeks a new design piece is added to the current collection. The evening line “freytag nacht” is designed and sewn in the in-house Viennese atelier from fine fabrics with great attention to detail.
SUSTAINABLE – HERE WE GO
Sustainability plays an important role in the designer’s fashion image. Thus, all pattern pieces and prototypes are constructed and sewn in the atelier. Production routes are short – 2 weeks from sketch to shop window. elke freytag designs are created in the in-house studio and in selected sewing shops in Vienna and the surrounding area.
With the high quality of the fabrics, the elke freytag label stands for an increased & conscious appreciation of clothing.
