Sometimes elegant, sometimes casual, but always with great attention to detail: Julia Steinkogler creates favorite pieces for her label MIJU that can be worn with a clear conscience. At VIENNA FASHION WEEK 2024, she added red accents to the dominant black and white looks and showed in an artistically staged show that MIJU is more than just fashion.
MIJU has been part of the VIENNA FASHION WEEK for years. The motto of this year’s collection was “Alpha Alien”, following on from last year’s collection “Alien DNA”. Once again, Julia Steinkogler skillfully integrated space elements into her avant-garde looks.
The exciting cuts and varied materials brought the outfits to life and showed that each item of clothing stands for individuality. The focus was on the strong contrast between black and white, which was repeatedly broken up by bright red, for example with futuristic PVC elements from Perlensau. The special thing about the looks: Julia Steinkogler does not use any animal products and relies on fairly produced materials so that every item of clothing is an ethically responsible favorite.
MIJU is a label that combines several factors relating to fashion. “It’s not just the fashion – it’s the accessories, it’s the hair and make-up, it’s the model. It’s important to me that many artists come together and create a big whole,” says Julia Steinkogler about her fashion show, in which she also integrated experimental visuals by Chucky Schuster. At VIENNA FASHION WEEK 2024, MIJU presented itself skillfully between urban and chic – a versatile label full of creativity and passion.
