IRENE HIEBL (goldsmith, lighting designer & qualified graphic designer) has been crafting unique jewellery and extraordinary lighting objects from a wide variety of materials in her studio on Lake Wörthersee for many years now. The true value of a piece of jewellery lies in the emotional connection… Just as we dress, we also use jewellery to express our personality, make a statement and define our style – consciously or unconsciously.

Every piece from our studio is unique, either developed in collaboration with the client or handcrafted according to our own creative vision. We use sterling silver, bronze or gold, combined with selected rough stones or natural materials.
This results in simple, clean forms that highlight the natural beauty of a raw mineral or a cut gemstone, creating a fascinating interplay.
Traditional goldsmithing techniques and unconventional production methods open up entirely new possibilities, giving rise to iconic statement pieces.

Among other things, we use one of the oldest manufacturing techniques, lost-wax casting, to create natural casts of organic objects, leaves, flowers, seeds or – as in the current collection – even genuine silk lace. The emotional aspect plays an important role here, as the handmade lace ribbons used for this purpose come from our own family – specifically from our grandmother. All the more so as the individual pieces have found their way back to Vienna, the place of their origin, after many years and various stops in Michigan and San Francisco.

Integrated permanently into a specially developed jewellery collection, individual elements are now – cast in gold bronze – preserved for eternity.
The ‘Basic Line’, created at the same time, reinterprets traditional lace using a new generative technique, rendered in a graphic style and executed with exquisite delicacy.
