At MQ VIENNA FASHION WEEK 2023 Mission Austria presented two timeless, locally established brands, Lyvem and Verdandy. These brands showcased the emerging desire for durable and modern essentials in their collections.
In the atmospheric pop/house interval, visitors were first introduced to the new collection of the young fashion label Lyvem. From the very beginning, „Sustainable Sophistication“ set the tone for the shared show. The sustainable fibers used in the outfits were spun following a clear vision. Female models presented compositions in Greige, setting the standard for Sporty-Chicness for 2023 and beyond.
In these looks (short skirts with patent leather loafers or a sports cap with an autumn coat), contemporary day and night wardrobes seamlessly merged. The minimalist presentation suggested subtle refinement, reflecting the Lyvem creed of confident Slow-Fashion in its wearers.
Then, the soundtrack became more energetic. The fashion label Verdandy embodied sustainable Urban-Chic in the second part, catering to male wearers. The collection featured an earthy color palette with blue and brown undertones. The label’s statement piece, and therefore the highlight of the show, was their precisely tailored jeans, emphasizing Verdandy’s commitment to exceptional fit and style.
The runway models showcased the slim-cut jeans, sometimes paired with Converse sneakers, leather jackets, high-quality Scandi-Hygge sweaters, with or without (Polo) shirts, radiating timeless urbanity and casualness.
