SPOTLIGHT UKRAINE x Austria: Ukrainian labels for powerful women

Under the title “Spotlight Ukraine x Austria,” Ukrainian labels GALAGAN and TAKAYAK made a strong showing at VIENNA FASHION WEEK 2025. With their latest collections, both brands sent a clear message of individuality, craftsmanship, and fashion for confident, strong women.

At VIENNA FASHION WEEK 2025, the GALAGAN collection captivated with its sophistication and attention to detail. Floor-length, tailored dresses, skirts, and pants played with the silhouette with ease, complemented by single-color leather bandeau tops with asymmetrical cuts. Silky fabrics met knit sweaters, whose glittering eyelet patterns created subtle tension. The radiant highlight: a floor-length, airy knit dress. TAKAYAK , meanwhile, showcased the interplay of overlaps in its debut collection, “Intersection”: a long, stylish coat over a cheeky denim set, a floor-length denim skirt with a high slit combined with precisely cut suit pants. The minimalist pieces are versatile and adaptable—cool, chic, urban—for every woman in every situation.

The symbiosis between the two Ukrainian labels is reflected in their shared love of high-quality materials, their ability to use fashion as an expression of identity and attitude, and their desire to empower women through their designs. The joint show was much more than an aesthetic highlight: it was a powerful statement about modern femininity.
