At VIENNA FASHION WEEK, Thai fashion brand WISHARAWISH ipresented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Under the creative direction of designer Wisharawish Akarasantisook, traditional Thai textiles merge with contemporary design. Inspired by the everyday life of “displaced hunters”, the collection translates the quiet joys of nature into modern, contemporary fashion.
The collection is a poetic journey through Thai nature and culture. The silhouettes vary between flowing maxi dresses and coats, loose-fitting trousers and light shirts reminiscent of the movements of “displaced hunters”. Transparent layers of fabric and delicate draping lend the shirts an airy elegance, while robust materials and clean lines emphasise the inner strength of the wearer. The colour palette ranges from soft greens and blues to vibrant accents of red and purple, capturing the rhythm of the forest and the mood of the different times of day.
Special attention is paid to the patterns: delicate, organic lines are reminiscent of forest paths, while geometric details reflect the musical rhythms of the Thai khaen and local drums. Each look told a story, from quiet moments in the forest to lively celebrations.
WISHARAWISH proves once again how culture, nature and contemporary design can form a unique symbiosis. He combines Thai heritage with modern wearability.
