Today, beauty is more individual than ever and at the same time subject to constant change. Social media in particular shows that diversity is becoming more visible, but this development has only recently gained momentum.
During the discussion, it quickly became clear that many people bear responsibility for beauty ideals. Doctors are called upon to set boundaries when unrealistic ideas dominate. The fashion industry also navigates between perfectionism and diversity.
Naturalness and self-optimisation do not have to be contradictory. Small, subtle interventions can boost self-confidence and emphasise individuality. Authenticity and humanity remain the decisive criteria, especially in times when artificial images are replacing authenticity.
Now and in the future, beauty lies in one’s own perception. Instead of chasing an ideal, it is important to celebrate differences. The participants agreed: true beauty lies in our charisma. In how we feel and what we convey to the outside world.
