With a harmonious colour palette and innovative cuts, the young designer is making a strong statement for environmentally conscious fashion. Karmi Temimi’s first collection at Vienna Fashion Week inspires more conscious consumer behaviour and shows that fashion can be both stylish and sustainable.
Karim Temimi has caused a stir at Vienna Fashion Week 2024 with his eponymous label. The show, which took place on 13 September, presented an impressive mix of modern luxury and sustainability. The collection is characterised by its avant-garde designs and high level of craftsmanship. Each piece is unique, characterised by its quality and attention to detail.
The show itself was a visual spectacle that transported the audience into a world full of drama and romance. With the theme ‘Marie Antoinette vs. Punk’ Temimi conquered the catwalk. With a unique mix of ruffles, ribbons, soft fabrics and silhouettes reminiscent of Marie Antoinette, combined with neon colours, iron rings, leather gloves, fishnet tights and punk-style leather boots, the designer surprised the audience.
The craftsmanship in Temimi’s collection was exceptional: intricate embroidery, handmade appliqués and precise cuts showed the attention to detail that could be seen in all the garments, providing the perfect balance between wearability and craftsmanship. Overall, Karim Temimi’s collection at Vienna Fashion Week 2024 not only impressed in terms of fashion, but also made a strong statement in favour of sustainability and quality.
