The Sitam Fashion Academy uses this template and the extensive expertise of founder Sabina Cattelan to pass on the craft of tailoring. The special thing about it is that young adults as well as working people and mums can deepen their passion for sewing.
Every year, different final collections are created that reflect the designer’s passion. From elegant evening wear to casual dresses for everyday wear, everything was included. Each designer told her own story with the collection. In conversation with a graduate, she explained that her collection was intended to represent life. Starting with a sports outfit that symbolises the priority of movement, it goes through a transformable office look to evening wear for men and women. The final looks in the collection are ball gowns that symbolise celebration and the joy of life.
There was plenty of celebration on the catwalk at Vienna Fashion Week this evening, namely the designs of the budding designers and tailors. A crowning finale and at the same time a starting signal to gain a foothold in the fashion industry.
