20 Years of Combinat

A creative collective celebrates at MuseumsQuartier Wien

In 2025, Combinat is celebrating a special anniversary: it has been a stage for innovative fashion and creative lifestyle for 20 years. To mark this milestone birthday, the designers from PITOUR, ARTISTA, KM/A, NI-LY and AQUANAUTA are presenting their new collections in a joint fashion show.

PITOUR stands for a finely balanced sense between current trends and gentle puristic elegance for women and men. Several wearing options turn supposedly simple cuts by Maria Oberfrank into pieces with glamour, luxury or charming irony and result in a skillful combination of sobriety with a pinch of exuberance.

ARTISTA brand sings the praises of creativity, individuality and extravagance, all the while representing a relaxed elegance for the woman, who lives in the city, but also loves nature.

KM/A, a label based in Vienna, designs and produces unique pieces from mostly unusual materials, like army blankets or parachutes as a counterpoint to the conformity of off-the-rack clothing.

NI-LY by Lin Yu-Dong creates timeless slow fashion defined by flowing silhouettes and refined simplicity. Many styles are draped directly on the dressform and crafted from single, continuous pattern pieces, resulting in minimal seams and effortless elegance.

AQUANAUTA was formed in 1999, Company of the designer Bernadett Pallai. The collection consists of clothing, which functions as day-time wear, but also as party-attire.

The Combinat is much more than just a concept store. The owners actively promote a lively dialog between fashion, art and everyday urban culture. The walls of the historic space are regularly opened up for exhibitions by artists and creatives, providing space for inspiration and exchange.

Since its foundation in 2005, the Combinat has stood for a proven concept that has significantly enriched the fashion scene around the MuseumsQuartier and has grown into a platform for local and international designers.
