Claudier: Haute couture from Graz, BOTTOM-LENGTH DRESSES

Long, luxurious evening gowns glitter on the catwalk. This is the newly founded Graz-based label Claudier, which is presenting its first fall/winter collection at the VIENNA FASHION WEEK under the title “Getragen im Sein” (Worn in Being). .

Claudier presented a collection full of glitter, shine and sequins. At first, dresses with the look of heavy, expensive fabrics were shown. Necklines thought through to the last detail met a closed back. A sea of sequins gave individual dresses a flowing look that demanded particularly dignified movements. Whether cool or warming tones, the luxury of Claudier makes you dreamy.

A series of designs in sheer yet richly embellished tulle continued the show in black and blue, evoking associations of unforgettable nights out. The nod to the Roaring Twenties with a fringed dress in a straight cut probably didn’t escape anyone’s notice.

Both the weighty and transparent looks often featured geometric patterns. However, red lips were not missing from any of the exquisite dresses.

The final touch was a fresh, light look in silver white. This was staged with a green bouquet of flowers as a graceful wedding dress and was literally the icing on the cake in terms of color.

In contrast to the spring/summer collection, Claudier presented a more mature and slightly less playful look at the VIENNA FASHION WEEK. The designer created a truly sublime appearance with her haute couture. She can lay it on thick and still maintain a certain balance with filigree details and classic style.
