Sometimes, classical designs are brought back with a twist: And what is a better way to do it, other than fashion? Both PALLA VIENNA and Grünschnabel & Gänseblümchen have rethought Fashion in their own way: One by using familiar patterns, the other by taking inspiration from traditional austrian garments.
Palla Vienna
PALLA Vienna is the Vienna-based fashion label of designer Alexandra Palla. At the heart of the brand are textiles deeply rooted in Austria’s everyday culture and textile craftsmanship. Linen, loden, waffle piqué, woven checks and traditional ribbons form the starting point of every collection. For their signature Fabrics, PALLA Vienna has been working together with the Leinenweberei Vieböck, a linen weaving mill located in Helfenberg, Upper Austria. The weaving mill is known for being rich in traditions and producing high-quality fabric since 1832: made from european natural fibers and decade-long experience.PALLA Vienna gives these familiar materials a new design context. Through a thoughtful approach to material, silhouette and proportion, the collections translate Austrian textile heritage into contemporary fashion. The label has developed a distinctive design language in which materials with history become the foundation of a new fashion vocabulary.

Grünschnabel & Gänseblümchen
Grünschnabel & Gänseblümchen uniquely combines fashion and tradition. Founded in 2011 by Claudia Hochmüller, the Finkenstein-based label took a significant step onto the European fashion stage by participating in the international Fashion Weeks in London and Paris in 2025. The brand is renowned for its durable, distinctive traditional-inspired fashion with a unique character. Its signature feature is its bespoke “wearable memories”—personal photographs artistically incorporated into aprons or the back panels of waistcoats, creating one-of-a-kind garments tailored to each customer’s wishes. For the “Reminiscence” collection, presented at Vienna Fashion Week, Grünschnabel & Gänseblümchen once again collaborates with jewellery designer Irene Hiebl of Atelier Bombardi. Following their successful presentation at Paris Fashion Week in September 2026, Claudia Hochmüller’s fashion designs are once again complemented by Atelier Bombardi’s distinctive jewellery creations. Both collections draw their inspiration from a shared sense of remembrance. At their heart are the designers’ grandmothers and the treasured collection of handcrafted bobbin lace they left behind. These heirloom textiles are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, creating a dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and modern design. The result is a harmonious fusion of fashion and jewellery that celebrates memory, heritage, and timeless artistry.
