SLANG SLANG: Street style & elegance combined with recycled high-tech textiles

SLANG SLANG stands for innovation, recycling and future-oriented work. The special approach of processing clothing from the technically high-quality textiles of the automotive industry and developing the prototypes using a 3D program is unique at Vienna Fashion Week. From casual street style looks to extravagant, bold evening wear, everything was there.

Webbing as straps for backless tops or as a waistband for skirts. Pants and tops were made from high-quality graphic fabrics. The jackets made from recycled airbags, which were manually dismantled and neutralized, stand out as the highlight of the show and were intended to give the wearer the feeling of standing out from the crowd.

The plan to develop clothing that represents a harmony of aesthetics and functionality in a sustainable form was implemented using wearable fashion.

The black and white collection impresses with straight cuts that embody the urban attitude to life. Unwavering materials combined with soft, transparent fabrics are seen as a critique of the fashion industry. SLANG SLANG‘s message: radical but gentle and transparent changes are needed.

In cooperation with Back2Bag, bags were also made from special waste materials from the automotive industry. Whether a small cross-body bag for everyday use or a large shopper for extra space. The collection has the perfect companion for every everyday situation.
