For its 2026 summer collection, WONDER ANATOMIE
draws inspiration from Thai fresh markets: vibrant places full of colours, scents and lively movement. This energy gives rise to fashion that combines surreal elements with unconventional aesthetics. The collection interprets the market as the “organ” of the city: a heart of life, full of stories and movement. Wonderful prints, sculptural silhouettes and creative materials merge everyday market life with art and fashion.
The “Anatomy of a Market” collection uses prints and patterns inspired by fruit, vegetables, seafood and flowers. The silhouettes are sculptural in design: garments are reminiscent of vegetable crates, polystyrene boxes, plastic baskets, carrier bags and vendor aprons, giving everyday objects a new artistic dimension. Colours and materials reflect the dynamism of the markets. From vibrant, bold tones to muted, organic shades that capture the diversity of the goods. The looks were rounded off with simple flip-flops on the catwalk. A deliberately casual contrast that authentically captures the market feeling.
The collection plays with exaggeration and abstraction, with shapes and volumes tracing the movement and rhythm of the market. Accessories are often functionally inspired, but at the same time serve as statement pieces. At VIENNA FASHION WEEK, WONDER ANATOMIE shows how everyday objects and urban living spaces can be translated into casual fashion that is both sculptural and wearable.
