Designer Liudmila Lugbauer presented a collection at VIENNA FASHION WEEK.26 that combined femininity with effortless elegance. Those who wear her designs don’t need a special occasion to feel special: fashion can elevate everyday life and add a touch of glamour to any moment.
Waist meets Tulle
In her collection, Liudmila Lugbauer worked with a variety of feminine silhouettes. Some of the pieces were body-hugging, while others made an impression with their flared shapes. Tulle and ruffles enhanced this effect and brought a touch of couture to the runway. Carefully placed waist details added structure to the looks. Feathers were used as a decorative element, lending selected pieces an almost weightless sense of movement.
The garments on the runway dazzled with sparkling sequins and shimmering fabrics, bringing a sparkle to the audience’s eyes as well. But there was more than glamour to admire: timeless tweed two-piece sets also completed Liudmila’s collection. Vivid reds, delicate pastels and classic black-and-white combinations created a varied colour story.
Everyday Life as Muse
Lugbauer creates her designs herself in her studio on a farm in Oberndorf an der Melk. She finds inspiration in the most everyday situations, translating these observations into her vision of femininity. Her clear aim is to create fashion that helps women feel confident and completely at ease in their own skin, whatever the time of day or occasion—and express that feeling through what they wear.
