The closing show of Day 3 at VIENNA FASHION WEEK.26 brought together Konstantin Theodor, Maria Lingenover and Dew & Juju for THE NEXT GENERATION, hosted by TrueYou. Three very different approaches, and that was actually what made the show interesting. There was no attempt to create one common look. Each designer came with their own language and let the collections speak for themselves.
Konstantin Theodor
Konstantin Theodor opened the show with a strong futuristic feeling. Metallic silver, black and white dominated the runway, with reflective fabrics, sculptural shapes and sharp silhouettes. Some of the looks felt almost like armour, while others were much more body-conscious. The oversized silver pieces stood out in particular, catching the runway light with every movement. It was a confident start to the evening and immediately set a very particular mood.
Maria Lingenover
Maria Lingenover totally changed the atmosphere with her creations. Her looks felt more experimental and reconstructed, playing with familiar garments and turning them into something less predictable. White shirts were combined with black structures, long cords, sheer elements and flashes of electric blue. There was something deliberately unfinished about some of the silhouettes – in a good way. You could see the process of taking something apart and putting it back together differently.
Dew & Juju
With Dew & Juju, the runway suddenly became much more playful. Pastel blue, pink and red, sporty silhouettes, oversized tracksuits and fun accessories brought a completely different energy to the show. Tennis references, umbrellas and colourful fruit-inspired details made the collection feel almost like fashion with a wink. It was light, a little cheeky and definitely not taking itself too seriously.
And maybe that was the nicest thing about THE NEXT GENERATION: the three collections didn’t really have much in common – except that each one had a clear point of view.

Hosted by TrueYou, the show was about giving young designers a stage and letting them show what they are working on right now. And on this particular evening, that meant three very different ideas of where fashion can go.
Three creatives. Different perspectives. One runway.
